A coffee and a flapjack please. £6.10. Six pounds ten pence! Absurd. And unsmiling slow service too. A woman outside was saying to her friends how ridiculous the prides were too. There's inflation and there greedflation. Easy to spot the difference. my tip: take a thermous of coffee and a packet of biscuits.

I think it could be more customer friendly by putting barriers in the car park for National trust members. So local people could use the car park to go for walks after 4:30 pm instead of cones blocking the car park and local people parking on grass verge along the road.

We had a great walk around Hatfield Forest. We are members. We parked at the entrance carpark and walked to the boardwalk, around the Lake, past Shell House and along the road back to the car. It was just over 3km

A very large public forest so lots of trees and footpaths, even some deer. Yay. Popular cafe too and a few carparks.

Blessed to have this amazing forest just minutes away from home, the walks are excellent, varied and plentiful. Very dog friendly. There are herds of dear and cow that live on the estate, a beautiful lake to look at whilst enjoying a coffee from the cafe.

Lovely place to walk the dogs or relax. You can get a hot or cold drink and a snack too at the cafe

Used National Trust membership, parking on grass little muddy but had taken boots. Refreshments etc are available but a bit of a wait. Outside seating. Very nice Sunday walk around pleasant surroundings.
